Tazio

Went on the 13th of September and was so so pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. We actually planned to dine at the popular establishment beside this place but they were full so we came to Tazio instead and it was one of the best decisions this trip! Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was fantastic. You need to get the arancini because that blew my mind.

Ordered antipasto for myself (not sharing haha) plus fries, also No-jito. Food was ok, but would be nice if it comes with dips or olive oil, coz the breads were bit dry. Fast service, I meant, very fast service. My friend still eating and holding the pizza, the waiter already took away the plate without asking. And it was only 7.15pm (we got there at 6.30pm), kitchen starts cleaning??

Possibly the worst dining experience I've had. Lack of trust. Slow to serve. Allows cutting in line. Incorrect orders. Not sure if it's because we're the only Asian customer, but the service was atrocious compared to every other table we observed. Booked for 7:30pm, arrived at 7:35pm, seat weren't available until 7:50pm. When we were ready to order and waved the staff over, he was interrupted half way by another table and instead of telling them to hold, since we asked him first, he stopped to take their order before us. After finally placing our order at 8:05pm, the entree came relatively quickly, but the main took over half an hour afterward. We observed as another table that was seated around 8:10pm had their whole order served and nearly finished their meal before our main arrived at 8:45pm, a single Marinara Pasta. The trouble did not stop there, it turns out they mistaken our side as an extra pizza. The mistake was rectified and the pizza taken away, swapping for the correct side. At this point we just want to finish our food and leave asap. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, during payment, the pizza was INCLUDED in our order and wasn't removed. When prompted on this mistake, the staff did not believe us initially and had to physically go check our table/with another staff before correcting it. Perhaps they were scammed of a pizza too many times? Or perhaps we're Asian? Who knows. Overall, we felt unwelcomed at the premise, however nice the staff sounded, their action spoke louder than word.

Initially, the ambiance and decor were delightful, accompanied by service that met expectations. Although the cuisine was flavorful, it inclined toward a slightly higher price range for its offerings. Nonetheless, the attentive staff consistently displayed friendliness, professionalism, and exceptional dedication. Moreover, the manager took additional steps to accommodate my friend's food allergy, ensuring an uninterrupted and enjoyable dining occasion. Overall, Tazio delivered a lunch experience that not only delighted the palate but also left a memorable impact. I strongly recommend it to individuals in search of an exceptional dining venture.

Our reception dinner with close friends in Tazio was mind-blowing! It was only 5 mins walk from the Old Treasury Building so couldn't be more perfect for the reception right after our civil wed ceremony. Classy atmosphere, scrumptious dishes and very tentative staffs were highly praised by all of my guests. Ray was super accommodating and supportive through entire process including menu selection, scheduling and party layouts etc. Big kudos to everyone in Tazio!!!👍

Pre-Show dinner so an earlying evening dining experience. The restaurant had other guests, but seemed like it was just opening. Staff a little lost, underskilled or short staffed. Tried hard but missed the mark and lacked confidence. Food sounds great, and flavourful... lamb ragu with pappardele yum right? But in my opinion missed the mark, no depth of flavour in the ragu, just some slow cooked lamb... I was looking for deep rich tasty, instead where is the salt and pepper? Left feeling disappointed. Great news the show made up for it, Elvis was awesome, highly recommend.
